Nanchang Bayi Sports Center is a venue capable of hosting national individual events.

In January 2024, the venue hosted the first National "City Cup" Badminton Invitational Tournament. Nearly 150 athletes

 and coaches from 9 high-level sports teams, including the National Training Team, National Youth Team, Nanchang

 Team in Jiangxi, Fuzhou Team in Fujian, Ningbo Team in Zhejiang, Nanjing Team in Jiangsu, Jingzhou Team in Hubei, 

Chengdu Team in Sichuan, and Guangzhou Team in Guangdong, participated in this competition.

The venue adopts the third-generation semiconductor sports lighting system of Huaxia Beidou Star, and the lighting

 effect of the main venue meets the requirements of Level IV "TV broadcasting of national and international competitions".
