In the spring of March, with grass growing and birds flying by the beautiful Chaohu Lake, the first expanded meeting of the Chairman and Expert Group of the School Sports Work Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Student Work Committee) of the China Sports Goods Industry Federation was successfully held on March 16, 2023. This conference is organized by Chaohu University and Anhui Normal University. More than 90 people attended the meeting, including chairpersons and expert group members from 51 sports colleges/departments of universities across the country, as well as leaders from more than ten sports colleges/departments of universities in Anhui Province and representatives from some enterprises who were invited to attend.
The meeting will be held in the second conference room of Chaohu College Library. Professor Ding Junmiao, member of the Party Committee and Vice Dean of Chaohu College, warmly welcomed the guests and representatives on behalf of the school, and introduced the basic situation of Chaohu College, as well as the progress of physical education teaching, training competitions, and scientific research work to the attending representatives.
The main purpose of this meeting is to summarize the work carried out by the first Council of the Student Affairs Committee, exchange the plan for
the replacement of the Council and the key work to be carried out. The first session of the meeting was chaired by Professor Xi Yubao, a member
of the Education Commission of the Ministry of Education and Anhui Normal University.
Professor Hao Guang'an, Chairman of the Student Affairs Committee, first introduced the series of work carried out by the first council to the
attending guests and representatives. He stated that in the past four years, under the guidance and support of the China Sports Goods Industry
Federation and relevant units of the Ministry of Education, and with the joint efforts and active participation of the chairpersons, vice chairpersons,
and members of the expert group, all members of the Student Affairs Committee have kept in mind the original intention and responsibility of
school sports workers. The first council has carried out a series of work to strengthen school sports education and smart sports construction, and
has achieved fruitful results.

The National Smart School Sports Construction and Development Forum, hosted by the Student Affairs Committee, has now become a distinctive
brand academic activity to promote campus sports education and smart sports construction. In August 2022, the Second National Smart School
Sports Construction and Development Forum was held at Jilin University. Professor Qiu Peng, Dean of the School of Physical Education at Jilin
University, summarized and introduced the relevant work of this forum.
The 3rd National Smart School Sports Construction and Development Forum is scheduled to be held at Henan Normal University from October 11-14,
2023. Professor Cheng Jie, the leader of the Academic Working Group of the Student Affairs Committee and the Dean of the School of Physical Education
at Henan Normal University, and Professor Yue Xianfeng, the Dean of the School of Physical Education at Henan Normal University, respectively
introduced the academic essay competition, academic exchange activity plan, paper recommendation and publication status, as well as the preparation
status of the third forum to the attending representatives.

The conference also invited Professor Zhang Yanchao, Vice Dean of the School of Sports Economics and Management at Guangxi University of Finance and Economics, to introduce the preparations for the first National Student (Youth) Games to be held in November this year to the attending representatives.

Since its establishment four years ago, the Student Affairs Committee has been committed to building a platform and bridge for comprehensive
school enterprise exchanges and cooperation for school users and sports equipment enterprises across the country. This conference invited
representatives from nine well-known smart sports enterprises to attend. At the third session of the conference, representatives from both schools and
enterprises discussed the construction of smart sports in schools. The seminar was chaired by Professor Wang Zongping, a member of the Education
Commission and Yunnan University.
